Another Middle East major announced March PE offer to Vietnam

Vietnamese players reported receiving new PE offers from a major Saudi Arabia maker today with $40-50/t increased compared to last month to reach $1120/t for both HDPE film and LLDPE film cargoes, CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A buyer commented, “Our supplier only have very small quantity for PE this month and despite being recovered from an earlier technical issue, the producer is still unable to allocate any PP cargoes for us. We expect to see firmer trend for both PP and PE in the near term due to tight supply.”
