Polymers prices in domestic India journey north

According to market players, a major Indian maker has adjusted their price up today, where PVC offers increased INR1500/t ($22/t), HDPE increased INR2500/t ($37/t), PP, LLDPE and LDPE increased INR3500/t ($51/t), while LDPE extrusion, coating and LLDPE hi flow increased INR4000/t ($59/t) compared to previous offers.

Players cited a pick up in local demand and tight supply from international suppliers to be the main factor support this firming trend.
