A major Thailand maker has announced fresh HDPE offers to Vietnam today with $15/ton higher than last week on the back of lacking sales pressure and improved trading activities recently.

The producer’s latest price list stand at $1200/ton for HDPE film, injection and blow molding, and at $1205/ton for HDPE yarn grade, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Source from the producer informed, “We might face some initial resistance, however, we plan to hold firm on our cargoes given lack of allocation. We hope this in addition to firming monomers costs would support the market in the near term.”
