International benchmarks for crude oil took a dive on Monday, 6 September 2021 after Saudi Arabia reduced contract prices for Asia by at least $1/barrel, reviving concerns over the demand outlook.
Brent for November delivery fell 39 cents to close at $72.22/barrel.
WTI for October down 40 cents to settle at $68.89/barrel.
