International benchmarks for crude oil continued to move higher on Monday, 1 November 2021 despite China releasing the fuel reserves as traders believed that OPEC and allies would not increase production output too quickly.
Brent jumped 99 cents to settle at $84.71/barrel.
WTI gained 84 cents to close at $84.05/barrel.
