International benchmarks for crude oil fell more than 3% on Wednesday, 3 November 2021 after the EIA released a report showing larger than expected build-up in US crude inventories last week as the country ramp up productions and released strategic reserves.
Brent plunged $2.73 or 3.2% to close at $81.99/barrel.
WTI dived $3.05 or 3.6% to close at $80.86/barrel.
