A key domestic producer in Indonesia has opened fresh weekly PP, PE offers, which show early signs of stabilization after weeks of decline. The smaller declines on most of the grades reflect the latest development in the import ground, where international suppliers started to hold a firmer stance on the offers.

Buyers remain conservative on the sideline after receiving the price list amid the availability of more competitive cargoes in the distribution market. Besides, manufacturers have made comfortable replenishment to cover the immediate needs, while end-product businesses for December are not up to expectations.
“Everyone is on the wait and see. The trading sentiment is soft, hence, we do not expect the producer to substantially lift spot offers in the near-term,” a market source said.
