According to market sources, Ulsan Polypropylene (UPP) – a joint venture between PolyMirae Company Ltd and SK Advanced is planning to take its newly started up PP plant in South Korea offline this January for routine maintenance work.
The 400,000 tons/year plant is expected to remain offline from 3 January to 23 January.
The company started up the PP line earlier this year and the first commercial cargoes emerged in China and Southeast Asia at the beginning of May 2021.
