International benchmarks for crude oil ended the trading session on Thursday, 23 December 2021 higher, reaching the highest level since 26 November 2021 on subsiding fear over the impact from Omicron.
Brent gained $1.56 or 2.1% to close at $76.85/barrel.
WTI rose $1.03 or 1.4% to settle at $73.79/barrel.
