International benchmarks for crude oil ended the first trading session of the week with gains as investors remain concerned over the tightening supply outlook. Production outages coupled with the lighter-than-expected impact of Omicron on the fuel demand stimulated crude buying.
Brent increased 42 cents to close at $86.48/barrel.
WTI gained 53 cents to close at $84.35/barrel.
