Market sources reported that Sinopec Zhongyuan Petrochemical Co has resumed the production of its MTO, PP and PE units over the weekend (24 July 2016) after unexpected shutdown last week.

Based in Puyang, Henan Province, China, the company has a 260,000 ton/year PE unit, 60,000 ton/year PP1 and 100,000 ton/year PP2 unit. The units have been shut since 20 July 2016 due to technical glitches.
