International benchmarks for crude oil extended the gain on Monday, 30 May 2022 amid growing expectations that the EU would eventually reach the agreement to ban Russian crude oil while demand in the US and the EU is expected to pick up entering the summer driving season.
Brent for July delivery, which expired on Tuesday, gained $2.24 or 1.9% to close at $121.67/barrel.
WTI was closed for holiday.
