A key local producer in Indonesia has once again lifted spot PP and PE offers, which is much in line with the market expectation considering the weakening Rupiah against the US dollar. However, metallocene PE does not appear to have the same support as offer for this grade has been tracking the stable to softening trend since mid-April.

On the other hand, the demand condition has not changed. As reported earlier, many manufacturers have replenished comfortably for the next couple of months, hence, prefer to wait on the sideline to monitor further development.
