International benchmarks for crude oil edged higher on Tuesday, 2 August 2022 as the market awaited production outputs decision from OPEC+ meeting on 3 August. Industry experts do not expect any major changes in outputs among key OPEC+ members as most producers are already operating near capacity.
Brent futures added 51 cents or 0.5% to close at $100.54/barrel.
WTI gained 53 cents or 0.6% to close at $94.42/barrel.
