Crude oil prices finished the last trading day of Jan on Friday (29 Jan) with increases on speculation about a possible talk between Russia and OPEC to cut production output and economic stimulus. However, many industry experts remained sceptic that such agreement could materialise. In fact, Iran’s official has stated that the country will not consider output cut until its export reach 1.5 million barrels per day.  

WTI closed at   $33.62/b (+ $0.40/b)

Brent closed at $34.74/b (+0.85/b)
