International benchmarks for crude oil settled the trading session on Monday, 21 November 2022 with minor decreases after OPEC+ denied reports of the plan to increase production outputs by 500,000 barrels in January. Both Brent and WTI plunged sharply following the reports but bounced back by closing time.
Brent for January settlement shed 17 cents to close at $87.45/barrel.
WTI for December delivery fell 35 cents to close at $79.73/barrel.
