International benchmarks for crude oil were little changed on Thursday, 24 November 2022 ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Meanwhile, the European governments remained split about the price cap on Russian crude oil. The G7 group of nations is looking to cap Russian barrels between $65-70/barrel – way above Russia’s production costs.
Brent inched 29 cents lower to settle at $85.12/barrel.
WTI is closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
