International benchmarks for crude oil settled the first trading day of the week higher following market talks that OPEC+ is ready to consider the idea of cutting production outputs to counteract the COVID-19 lockdown protests in China.
Brent gained 44 cents to close at $83.19/barrel.
WTI added 96 cents to close at $77.24/barrel.
