According to market sources, a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced September delivery PE prices to Vietnam at reduction compared to last month. The maker cut $20/ton for HDPE film to $1130/ton and $10/ton for LLDPE film to $1220-1230/ton, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A buyer commented, “Our supplier appears to have better supply this month, therefore we expect larger than usual discount. We plan to buy some LLDPE cargoes only as HDPE demand is very bad in local market at the moment.”
