According to market sources, LG Chem Corporation is planning to shut its LDPE unit by 10 October 2016 for a scheduled turnaround.
Based in Daesan, South Korea, the LDPE plant has a production capacity of 170,000 ton/year. The unit is expected to remain off-stream for about 8-10 days.
