Vietnamese players on the first trading day of the week reported receiving fresh homo-PP offers from a major Indian producer with $50/ton increased from last week, to reach $1040/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Initial market respond is not very positive, with a buyer commented, “Even local market has yet to record such rapid hike. Demand is not at the stage to support any significant increment, and for this we are expecting a more of stable trend for the remaining of the week. Post holidays outlook is optimistic due to enter the traditional high demand season.”
