According to market sources, Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co Ltd (KPIC) is planning to shut its HDPE unit in October 2016 for a brief maintenance.
Based in Ulsan, South Korea, the HDPE unit has a production capacity of 530,000 ton/year. It is likely to remain off-stream for 8-10 days.
