According to market sources, Zhejiang Shaoxing Sanyuan Petrochemical Co Ltd has experienced an unexpected shutdown on its propane dehygrogenation (PDH) unit on 3 February 2016 due to a technical glitch.
Located at Zhejiang, China, the plant is having propylene capacity of 450,000 ton/year. According to the source close to the company, the unit is expected to remain off-stream until after Chinese New Year holidays due to the issues at the unit’s heating section.
