According to market sources, PT Polytama Propindo unexpectedly shutdown its PP plant in Balongan last Friday, 2 September 2016 due to power outages. Source close to the company informed the plant would be able to restart tomorrow, 6 September.
The plant is designed to produce 380,000 ton/year of PP. However, under a tolling agreement with its main distributor, the plant is currently making 15,000 tons of PP per month.
