International benchmarks for crude oil fell more than 3% on Monday, 30 October 2023 as investors adopted a cautious stance ahead of the Federal Reserve (FED) meeting this week. Weighed on the market is also the disappointing China’s manufacturing activities data in October. Sources said concerns over the economic conditions once again overshadowed Middle Eastern concerns.

Brent fell $3.03 or 3.35% to close at $87.45/barrel.

WTI plunged $3.23 or 3.78% to settle at $82.31/barrel.
