International benchmarks for oil prices moved higher on Monday (5 September) as Saudi Arabia and Russia signed an oil-cooperation agreement. Oil price rose as much as 5% after the news. Market however pared most of the gain latter on after the Saudi oil minister said that an output freeze is not necessary at the moment. Many analysts are skeptic of any agreement could be materialized in the coming meeting.
