A major Thailand maker has announced their new offers to China market today with an increase of $10/ton for HDPE film to reach $1155/ton, maintaining stable offers for HDPE yarn and LLDPE C4 film to reach $1160/ton and $1260/ton respectively, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term, for shipment on first half of October 2016.

A trader commented, “Our supplier informed that they are going to have turnaround for their 300,000 ton/year LDPE unit by 19 September 2016 for about 23 days hence they are not offering any LDPE cargoes this time. We are unsure about the acceptance level from buyers as most of our customers preferred to wait and see these days.”
