International benchmarks for crude oil rebounded from the heavy losses the previous day as investors turned their attention to the closure of Libya's 300,000 barrels per day (bpd) Sharara oilfield while the Israel-Houthi war continues to escalate.
Brent futures jumped $1.47 or 1.9% to settle at $77.59/barrel.
WTI added $1.47 or 2.1% to close at $72.24/barrel.
