A major producer from Qatar has announced new offers with an increased of $5/ton for LDPE to reach $1180/ton and reduction of $5-15/ton for LLDPE film to reach $1155-1165/ton, all on a CFR China, LC at sight basis, for October shipment.

A trader commented, “LLDPE market has become comparatively softer recently with the weaker future market as well as domestic price trend, however, the current price level is  quite reasonable and we have took some LDPE cargoes since the domestic offers for LDPE is still about CNY300-500/t ($45-74/t) higher than this offer level.”
