A major Saudi Arabia producer has down adjusted PE prices for October delivery to Vietnam compared to last week in the face of sluggish buying interest. The maker cut prices by $20/ton to reach $1100/ton for HDPE film and $1180/ton for LLDPE film, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A distributor informed, “Even at the new prices, buyers are very reluctant to make purchases. Most of our customers are complaining about weak domestic market and this condition might pressure the market further in the coming days.”
