According to a source closed to the company, Lotte Chemical Titan (M) Sdn Bhd has experienced an unexpected shutdown on their LDPE unit 7 days before Chinese New Year during beginning of February 2016. Fortunately, the production has resumed since last week, and it is claimed to have limited LDPE supply at the moment.
Located in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia, the plant is able to produce 230,000 ton/year of LDPE grades.
