Zhongtian Hechuang Energy, a Sinopec and China Coal Group joint venture has resumed operations at its Inner Mongolia facility, ending a 45-day maintenance shutdown.
The company restarted its two LDPE lines, with capacities of 250,000 tons/year and 120,000 tons/year, as well as a 300,000 tons/year LLDPE line.
The maintenance period lasted from 17 June to 31 July, during which all three lines were halted despite operating at full capacity prior to the shutdown. The Ordos-based petrochemical complex, operational since October 2016, is poised to return to full production capacity following the restart.
