Brazil extends temporary anti-dumping duties on non-surgical latex and PVC gloves from three Asian countries

This resolution follows the earlier GECEX Resolution 568, issued on 20 February 2024. The extension prolongs the provisional anti-dumping measures for an additional three months effective 20 August 2024.

The Executive Committee of the Management of the Brazil Foreign Trade Commission (GECEX) has extended the provisional anti-dumping duties on non-surgical latex and PVC gloves originating from China, Malaysia, and Thailand. The extension was formalized through Resolution No. 627 of 2024, which was issued on 09 August 2024.

This resolution follows the earlier GECEX Resolution 568, issued on 20 February 2024. The extension prolongs the provisional anti-dumping measures for an additional three months effective 20 August 2024.

The affected products fall under the tax codes 4015.12.00, 4015.19.00, and 3926.20.00. These measures aim to protect the domestic market from unfair trade practices by ensuring that imported non-surgical latex and PVC gloves are not sold at prices that undercut local manufacturers.
