A major Southeast Asian producer has announced new prices today for their March shipment with $10/t increased for HDPE film and $30/t hike for LDPE film to reach $1120/t and $1150/t respectively, both on a CIF Southease Asia, L/C AS basis.
The producer source informed, “We have experienced emergency shutdown a week before Chinese New Year holidays for LDPE unit and fortunately it has resumed by last week. We remain firm stance on our LDPE offers but willing to give $10-20/t discount for serious negotiations.”
