Market sources reported that SCG Chemicals Co Ltd is planning to shut one of its HDPE unit in November 2016 for a scheduled turnaround.

Located at Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the HDPE unit has a production capacity of 180,000 ton/year, which is mainly producing pipe grades. It is expected to remain off-stream for 3 weeks.
