Market players reportedly receive new offers from a major Thailand maker today with a decrease of $10/ton on HDPE film and yarn to reach $1150/ton and $1160/ton respectively, meanwhile LLDPE film posted $20/ton reduction to reach $1250/ton, and maintains LDPE film and heavy duty offers stable at $1300/ton and $1130/ton respectively, all on CFR China, LC at sight term.

A trader commented, “Our supplier has completed the turnaround for LDPE and supplies shall be sufficient this time, but due to comparatively better market sentiment for LDPE, they decided to hold stable stance. We are still waiting for feedback from customers and hope that we can conclude some deals as domestic market sentiment are slightly better today with the support from future market as well as some firmer trends in domestic market.”
