A major Saudi Arabia producer has announced November delivery offers for both PP and PE to Southeast Asia market at stable to firmer levels compared to last month. In fact, latest price list showed all PE offers are unchanged while only PP block copolymers firmed up $20/ton.

Based on this, the maker’s offers stand at $1150/ton for HDPE film, $1220/ton for LLDPE film, $1030/ton for homo-PP, $1080-1100/ton for PP block copolymer and $1050/ton for BOPP, all based on CIF Southeast Asia, LC AS term.

A source close to the company informed, “Due to previous production hiccup, we have very limited quantity for HDPE film this month. And we also planned a maintenance shutdown at most of our production lines next month, except the homo-PP unit, therefore we are free from sales pressure.”
