A major maker from Thailand imposed price hike with an increased of $10/ton for HDPE film and yarn to reach $1160/ton and $1170/ton respectively, $10/ton for LLDPE film to reach $1260/ton, $30/ton for LDPE film and heavy duty to reach $1330/ton and $1350/ton respectively, as compared to last week, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term.

A trader received the offers commented, “Our supplier has offered stable price for HDPE film at $1150/ton since yesterday and implemented additional $10/ton increased today after some deals managed to be concluded. On the other hand, we did not receive official offers for LDPE at the moment but our supplier requested for customers’ bids and proposals for price levels and volumes. We believed that prices outlook will continue to be firm in the near term.”
