According to market sources, CPC Corporation is planning to shut its No. 6 naphtha-fed steam cracker by 17 February 2017 for a scheduled turnaround.
Based in Linyuan, Taiwan, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 720,000 tons/year and propylene production capacity of 430,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream until 10 April 2017.
