A major Saudi Arabia producer has announced December delivery PE cargoes to Vietnam with $10-20/ton increased compared to last month’s initial offers. The official price list stand at $1210-1220/ton for LLDPE film and $1150/ton for HDPE film, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A buyer received the offers informed, “Given mediocre demand and falling ethylene costs, we do not see any strong support for a price hike at the moment. For this, we think the producer might need to commit to larger discounts in order to conclude deals. Especially at the current exchange rate.”
