A major Taiwanese producer has announced official PVC offers for December delivery to regional market with increases compared to last month. In India, latest offers leaped $20/ton to reach $1010/ton, CIF, LC AS term. The last time Taiwanese PVC hit above the $1000/ton mark in India was in November 2014.

Meanwhile, the maker’s prices indicated $40/ton hike to China and Southeast Asia market, reaching $970/ton CIF/CFR, LC AS term.

An Indian trader informed, “Our supplier is not offering any discount this month. We are monitoring market respond since the liquidity issues after the demonetization severely affected the general demand condition. India therefore is no longer the focused market this time. It all depends on China at the moment.”
