According to market sources, the basic installation of Shenhua XinJiang Coal-Based New Materials Project has completed except for LDPE plant.
Located at Urumqi, China, the project initially planned with a production capacity of 410,000 ton/year of PP and 270,000 ton/year of PE. However, after adjustments, the plant is having a PP and PE plant with a production capacity of 300,000 ton/year each. It is planned to start with the production of MTO, and the trial run of PP was completed since yesterday and currently under further commissions, while the production of on-spec PP materials are expected to be scheduled on April, not later than May 2016.
