In the final findings of the Sunset Review investigations of anti-dumping duty on import PP originating in or exported from Singapore, the Indian authorities proposed that an antidumping duty (ADD) of $145.20/ton on these cargoes are necessary to protect the domestic market.
The findings recommended the imposition of the antidumping duty as following:
For The Polyolefin Company (Singapore) Pte Ltd: Cargoes sold through Itochu Plastics Pte Ltd are not subjected to any ADD. Other than that, the ADD of $145.20/t will be taken into account.
For ExxonMobil Chemical Asia Pacific: Cargoes sold directly by ExxonMobil to India are not subjected to any ADD. Other than that, the ADD of $145.20/t will be taken into account
Any other PP cargoes exported from Singapore to India will be subjected to the same ADD rate.
