According to market players, a major producer from Middle East has announced new price today with increased compared to last month. The latest price list from the maker has increased $15-25/t to reached $1115-1125/t for LLDPE film and $10-20/t hike to reach $1135-1145/t for LDPE film.

“Recently we see most of the suppliers has adjusted their offers up, meanwhile the overall purchasing activities are still not strong. However, with the firmer energy and upstream costs as well as limited supplies for imported cargoes, we are expecting firmer outlook in the near term,” a trader commented.
