According to market sources, Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co Ltd (KPIC) has shut its HDPE plant for a scheduled maintenance since early last week.

Based in Ulsan, South Korea, the HDPE plant has a production capacity of 530,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 6-7 weeks.
