According to market sources, Tosoh Corporation is planning to shut its No. 2 vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant for maintenance starting early September 2017.

Based in Nanyo, Japan, the No. 2 VCM unit has a production capacity of 600,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream until mid of October 2017.
