According to market players, a major Middle Eastern producer has announced fresh PE offers for April shipment to China today with $40/t hike compared to last month. The producer’s latest prices stand at $1090/t for HDPE film, $1140/t for LLDPE film and $1130-1150/t for LDPE film, all based on CFR China, LC AS term. 

A buyer received the new prices said, “Our supplier informed that there is no issue with the supply at the moment and we are just waiting to confirm the quantity. It appears that these cargoes are very competitive in the current market condition; however, we are monitoring the market respond as buyers started to show certain degree of uninterested in making fresh purchases.”
