According to market sources, Hanbang (Jiangyin) Petrochemical Co Ltd has shut both of its new PTA units today for defect clearance.
Based in Jiangyin, Jiangsu, China, the company has two PTA units each with a 1.1 million ton/year of production capacity. One of the unit has startup since 15 March 2016 and another has started on 23 March 2016. The plants are expected to remain off-stream for about 3-5 days.
