Oil prices extended loses on Monday

International benchmarks for oil prices continued to edge lower on Monday (4 April) as hope for a potential agreement between major oil producers to curb global excess supply faded. On Friday, Saudi Arabia's deputy crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman told Bloomberg that the country would only freeze its production output if Iran willing to march the game. Meanwhile, Russia - the initiator of the meeting has pumped 10.91 million barrels in March, highest level in three decades, signaling that the country does not see any obligation to stick to the agreement. Oil price fell after that.
