Market sources reported a major Thailand producer has implemented additional increases on their PP cargoes to Indonesia this week while maintaining HDPE offers unchanged from last week. The producer’s price list is shown in the following table:

A buyer received the new offer commented, “Local producer has also lifted PP prices for domestic customers, however we are seeing buying interest is fading, some traders are even selling below price list to entice demand. For HDPE, we find that local cargoes are more competitive at the moment. We think market would become calmer in the second half of April due to Songkran festival in some S. East markets, followed by ChinaPlast exhibition.”
